Fundraising Knit-A-Thon for the Featherston Community Centre

The wonderful people at the Featherston Community Center have organised a fundraising Knit-A-Thon for the local community.

Joy of Yarn is joining in the fun as a sponsor and also providing space in our Greytown store to sit and knit/crochet for the duration.

Come along and join in a day of fibrous fun at our store while also showing your support for the local community. We'll have tea and coffee available and have crafting podcasts playing on the shop screen.

Ready to get those needles clicking? Whether you're a seasoned knitter or just starting out, our Knit-A-Thon is a fun way to connect, create, and contribute!

How to Register:
Pop into the office for a registration form OR email Jasmine at jasmine.turner@fcc.nz and she’ll send you one.

Choose Your Fee:

$10 – Entry only

$35 – Entry + Knitting Kit

What are we making?
Whatever your heart desires! Knit what you love.

Where do the knitted items go?
We’ll have a donation box for those who’d like to contribute to the Featherston Knitters they’ll make sure your work goes to someone in need.
But if you're knitting for yourself? That’s totally okay too!

How do we fundraise?
Get sponsored by friends, family, or even go door-to-door a classic style! All funds raised will go directly back into the community centre to support and refresh the amazing groups we host.

Those who fundraise before the event go in the draw for awesome prizes, including:
A gorgeous Indie-Dyed Yarn pack (which will be on display at the Knit-a-thon!)
