Lights Up Crafting

Do you love to craft outside the comfort of your living room?

Well... this event could be for you. Joy of Yarn has partnered with the Light House Cuba Cinema to bring you a monthly 'Light's Up Crafting' film screening.

What's a Light's Up Crafting event you ask... it's the screening of a movie but with the lights left brighter than usual to enable you to knit/crochet/craft while watching the movie.

Our Light's Up sessions will be on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 5.30pm at Light House Cinema Cuba, 29 Wigan Street, Te Aro. The movie will start at 5.45pm. Tickets are $22.00 per seat with a Senior/Student concession available for $15.50. Tickets must be purchased through the Joy of Yarn website.

Our movie for October is...Shaun the Sheep - The Beast of Mossy Bottom

The new adventure sees the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm looking forward to Halloween - until the clumsy Farmer trashes the Flock's beloved pumpkin patch. When Shaun turns mad scientist to fix the problem, things rapidly spiral out of control, leading to a wild beast roaming the woods.
