Awesome Arapara 4ply – Arapawa / Merino blend

Awesome Arapawa is a blend of white Merino and natural coloured Arapawa wool which results in a beautiful heathered finish. Arapawa sheep are famed for having been abandoned on islands in the Marlborough Sounds as a food source if sailors got shipwrecked on the islands.

Length - Approx 368m (402yds) per 100gm
Recommended needle size - 3.5 - 4mm (4-6 US)
Tension - 10cm (4”) square = 24 sts x 30 rows - 3.5mm
Care instructions - Hand wash / Air dry
