Spindrift - 290 Oyster

Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift 100% Shetland Wool.

This is a beautifully rustic wool all the way from the Shetland Islands. It is ideal for Fair Isle knitting as well as other types of colourwork due to its grippy nature. It is very rare for a dropped stitch knit in spindrift to run and ladder. Added to this is the temptation that comes with an extensive range of colours. 

290 Oyster is a dyed, heathered effect colour.

• Length - Approx 105m
• Thickness - It's described as 2ply because it is two separate plies spun together. In terms of thickness it is what we would call 4ply.
• Tension - 10cm = 30 stitches x 32 rows on 3.25mm needles
